WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Wingnuts today announced the University of Phoenix - Wichita Campus as the presenting sponsor for the 2010 American Association All-Star Game.
"The University of Phoenix - Wichita Campus 2010 American Association All-Star Game" is scheduled for Tuesday, July 27th at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium. The game matches up the best players from the North and South Divisions, with all 10 teams sending at least one representative. The Wingnuts have sent a combined 13 players to the All-Star Game in each of their first two seasons.

Prior to the game, the Wingnuts will host several skills competitions, highlighted by the annual Home Run Derby. Events leading up to the 27th include a banquet, pre-game picnic, and golf with the players and league executives. Passes for these events will be available for purchase to Wingnuts' season ticket holders.

"The University of Phoenix is well-known across the country and we are very proud to have both of our names attached to one of the biggest events Wichita will see this year."

The game will also be televised live on Kansas 22 with the capability of being carried in all of the league's markets.
