WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Wingnuts lost their first ever home game, falling 11-3 to the Fort Worth Cats on Thursday night.
The Cats scored four runs in the fifth to blow open a 2-1 game. Nelson Teilon and Osiel Flores hit home runs for Fort Worth. The Wingnuts got a home run from Heath Keel.
Wichita still took three out of four games from Fort Worth and remains 1 1/2 games behind the first place St. Paul Saints as they head to Lincoln for a three-game set with the Saltdogs.
The Wingnuts, now 6-1 at home, will return home on Tuesday to begin a seven game homestand. For tickets call the Wingnuts office at (316) 264-4625.
