LINCOLN, NE- The Wichita Wingnuts dropped a 4-3 decision in 12 innings at the Lincoln Saltdogs on Saturday.
Wichita out hit Lincoln 12-5, but could not get the go ahead run despite having first and second with nobody out in the top of the 12th. Newcomer Alejandro Martinez suffered the loss for the Wingnuts.
Wichita and Lincoln, who are now tied for second in the North Division just 1/2 game behind the Saint Paul Saints, will wrap up their three-game series at 6:05 p.m. on Sunday. Leonard Landeros will take the hill for Wichita.
