WICHITA, KS- Heath Keel hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning, keying a five-run inning, as the Wingnuts came back to defeat the Lincoln Saltdogs 8-5 on Tuesday Night at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.
Keel finished the night 3-4 - a double shy of the cycle - with a stolen base, four RBI's and two runs scored. Blake Gailen added two hits and two RBI's for Wichita.
Doug Hurn earned the victory in relief as Wichita moved their record to 17-14 and pulled within three games of first place St. Paul. The two teams will do battle again on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. For tickets call the Wingnuts at (316) 264-4625.
