WICHITA, KS- The Wingnuts and Saltdogs combined for 15 runs in the first five innings and none after that, but it was Lincoln that came away with the 8-7 win in front of 5,519 fans at Lawrence Dumont Stadium on Sunday.
The Saltdogs scored six runs off Wingnuts starter Brad Davis, led by Shea McFeely, who knocked in three. Brenan Herrera and Bernie Dennis had two RBI's each for the Wingnuts.
Wichita will start a three-game series at the Fort Worth Cats on Tuesday before returning home to host the Sioux City Explorers on Friday at 7:05 p.m. For tickets call the Wingnuts office at (316) 264-4625.
