WICHITA, KS - Wednesday night the Wichita Wingnuts fell 10-2 to the Fort Worth Cats at LaGrave Field. Felipe Del Rosario hit a two-run homerun, but the Cats scored four in the fourth and three more in the sixth to break the game open.
Dave Rider made his first start of 2008, allowing six runs, four earned, in 3.1 IP. Jake Gautreau and Nelson Teilon had two RBI apiece. Cats' starter Dan Grybash retired the final ten hitters to face him after Del Rosario's fourth inning homerun. Grybash struck out nine.
The two teams will play a rubber match of the series Thursday night. Wichita sends left hander Leonard Landeros to the mound. Fort Worth counters with lefty Joel Kirsten. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
