WICHITA, KS - The Wingnuts dropped their series finale to St. Paul by a final score of 4-0 on Saturday night.
St. Paul starter Luis Villarreal pitched a complete game four-hit shutout to salvage the final game of the series for the home team. Kevin Hooper had two of Wichita's four hits, with a single and a double. It marked the 39th multi-hit game of the year for the Wingnuts' shortstop.
Wichita finishes their road schedule 21-28. The Wingnuts went 1-9 at Sioux Falls Stadium, but went 20-19 in the rest of their road games. Wichita went 5-9 on their 14-game road trip during the NBC.
