WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Wingnuts announced their 2009 radio partnership with Sports Radio 1410 KGSO.
For the second straight year, the Wingnuts home and road broadcasts will be carried on 1410AM KGSO, Wichita's only all sports radio station, and Wichita's only locally-owned radio station. The Wingnuts hit the airwaves beginning with tonight's season opener versus Lincoln. Each broadcast includes a 20-minute pregame show as well as a postgame show featuring that games's highlights.
KGSO will broadcast at least 80 Wingnuts regular season and potential postseason contests. The Wingnuts can also be heard worldwide at www.kgso.com A link to KGSO's internet audio can be found at the Wingnuts' website www.wichitawingnuts.com
The Wingnuts open the 2009 season tonight at 7:05 p.m. when they host the Lincoln Saltdogs at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium. Tickets are on sale now for all Wingnuts' home games. For more information, call the Wingnuts' office at (316) 264-4625.
