Wingnuts stopped by Saints, Hailstorm

Wichita, KS- The Wingnuts fell 2-1 to the St. Paul Saints on Wednesday night at Lawrence Dumont Stadium in a game shortened by a massive hail storm.
With the Wingnuts coming to bat in the bottom of the seventh, ominous skies suddenly appeared, giving way to rain and then hail. Hail fell steadily for nearly 30 minutes, ranging between golf and baseball size, causing widespread damage to cars in the parking lot. Tom Buske earned his first pro win, while Adam Cowart suffered the defeat.
The Wingnuts and Saints will conclude their series on Thursday at 7:05 p.m. Will Savage will get the start for Wichita. For tickets call the Wingnuts office at (316) 264-4625.
