Wingnuts to Make Major Announcement Monday

WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Wingnuts will make a major announcement regarding the franchise's future on Monday, October 5th.
For convenience, the announcement will be made at a press conference scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at the Wichita Ice Center, preceding the Wichita Thunder hockey team's annual media day.
The Wingnuts, who finished with a league-best record of 58-38 in 2009, recently signed American Association Manager of the Year Kevin Hooper to a two-year contract extension.
Wichita opens the 2010 season sometime in mid-May and also hosts the 2010 American Association All-Star Game in July. For season ticket information, contact the Wingnuts' office at (316) 264-4625.
