Opening Night Celebrating the Life of Brian Rose Presented by Southwestern College/ Magnet Schedule Giveaway by Peak Performance & Alta Mere
Join the Wingnuts for Game 1 of the 2013 season as they celebrate their 6th season in Wichita. The Wingnuts will have a pre-game ceremony celebrating the life of former Bench Coach Brian Rose. Rose’s No. 3 will be retired and members of the Rose family and the Wichita Wingnuts Family will honor Rose prior to the game. The first 2,000 fans through the gates on Opening Night will receive a free 2013 magnet schedule courtesy of Peak Performance and Alta Mere. Be sure to stick around after the game as fans will have their first chance to hit one out of Lawrence-Dumont Stadium during the P.F Chang’s Home Run Derby!!

Teddy Bear Toss and Friday Night Fireworks
Bring a Teddy Bear or stuffed animal with you to the game and when the moment comes fans will throw the stuffed animals onto the field. The Teddy Bears will then be donated to area hospitals and non-profit organizations. As always after Friday home games stay in your seat for the post-game fireworks show.

Million Dollar Man with $10,000 Giveaway and Boys Scout Night
“Everybody has a Price.” The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase will be throwing out the first pitch before the final game against New Jersey. In honor of the Million Dollar Man the Wingnuts will be giving out a $10,000 prize to one lucky fan if the Wingnuts strike out the first three Jackal batters in order in the 8th Inning. Boy Scouts pack your gear for another night of Wingnuts baseball. All Boy Scouts who register for tonight’s event are welcome to camp out on the field after the game.
